Hi guys, I’m mega excited to let you know that something really nice has happened. I’ve been nominated and I’m a finalist for the “Up and Coming Security Professional” category at the ISLA awards! Here’s some info:
“Since 2004, (ISC)² has been recognising the ongoing commitment of individuals who are leading the way and making a difference in this ever-evolving industry, honouring tireless efforts and standards of excellence in the field of information security.
The second (ISC)² Information Security Leadership Awards EMEA are a unique opportunity for you to nominate fellow information security and management professionals that go the extra mile to enhance security throughout the private and public sectors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.” – (ISC)² nomination portal.
Chrissy will get to spend two days out in Amsterdam to attend the conference as well as the awards ceremony at the World Forum for the (ISC)² Secure Summit at The Hague
The up and coming nomination information:
“Up-and-Coming Information Security Professional: A rising star in the information security field who is either a practitioner or a strategist with 5 – 8 years of experience in the profession. The project or initiative may not relate to leadership, but rather something that relates to their current position or educational work (e.g., university research project, implemented emerging technology, or outstanding work in security operations). Candidates in this category typically hold roles such as security analyst,
security engineer, architect.”
Three of us are going to be out there for the event. The agenda and the fact I am getting to spend a few days with a couple of my friends is brilliant and I’m really excited!
